Bhutan the thunder dragon kingdom is a trekker’s paradise and an environmentalist’s dream. With 72 percent of the country under forest cover, Bhutan’s pristine ecology is home to rare and endangered flora and fauna.

Tourists can book a package holiday to Bhutan through both International and Bhutanese local tour operators. Information is available from travel agencies sites. The Royal Government of Bhutan sets minimum selling prices for packages to Bhutan and this must be paid in US dollars prior to arrival in Bhutan.

There is only one airline that flies to Bhutan and it is called Druk Air. One can entry from three entry points: Samdrup Jongkhar (southeast Bhutan), Gelephu (south Bhutan), and Phuntsholing (southwest Bhutan) by road. Entrance permit is required so passport or voters registration card is required. And spatial rout permission is required to visit other place then Thimphu, Phuntsholing, and Paro.
