Now the cost for Bhutan tour depends on the number of days and night spend by the tourist in Bhutan. Fixed tourist tariff is set by the government foreigners other than Indian and Bangladeshi. and is applicable to all tour operators in Bhutan.
The fixed cost paid is not just a fee for entry to Bhutan, its a package that covers all accommodation, meals, land transportation, guides, sightseeing, inland permits and fees. In trekking, this sum covers all expenses for the treks, such as the cost of transport animals carrying your equipment and material, camping equipment, meals and transport.
The tariff for tourists visiting in a group of 3 persons or more are as follows:
- High season tariff - US$ 260/ person/ night (January to June, & September to December).
- There is a supplement fee of $40 for single traveler and $30 each for two people.
Low season tariff - US $210/ person / night (July and August).
Discounts on daily rates:
a) DIPLOMATS up to 25% discount
b) No charge for CHILDREN up to 5 years, and children of 6 to12 years 50% discount
c) Full time STUDENTS below the age of 25 years, holding valid identity cards from academic institutions, will also be given a 25 % discount.
